I was privileged to have Marla share her passion with me today. Through humor and obvious excitement, she shares her love for friends, family and music. She leads the hand bells in our church and is playing the organ for the upcoming performance of Handel’s Messiah this coming Sunday at Mariner’s Bethel United Methodist Church. I’ll be up on stage flapping my arms trying to keep the shenanigans of the choir in check, and Marla will be holding us all together at the organ.

Music is a language in and of itself. It’s a language that Marla not only understands, but speaks fluently. Her dedication, hard work, and attention to detail are unparalleled. I’m glad to call her my friend and colleague. It’s my hope that after a life of adding value to others, I’ll be able to “keep going” to the degree she is.

If you live in the Southern Delaware area, please come see our Marla and our choir perform Messiah this Sunday, April 14th at 4:00 PM at Mariner’s Bethel United Methodist Church in Ocean View, Delaware. I will be creating an event on my GGP Facebook page. I hope some of you can make it.
